St. Heliers Bathroom Project

Imagine waking up each morning, stepping out of bed and walking into your newly tiled bathroom, feeling the warm tiles beneath your feet from the underfloor heating which turned itself on an hour before you woke up. Experience the luxury of warm mains pressure water flowing over your body inside your frameless glass shower. Stepping out of the shower you take your warm towel from the heated towel rail. The fan located above the shower has removed all of the steam from the shower and the mirror demister has kept your mirror clear. The halogen lighting above your mirror allows makeup to be applied easily and effortlessly.

Mission Bay Bathrooms Project

This Auckland home in Mission Bay was just over 10 years old and all five bathrooms were out of date and needed to be renovated to bring them into the 20th century. The bathrooms were cold, dark and somewhat damp. NZ Building Maintenance offered a complete solution from start to finish. Our interior designer put together colour schemes and fittings that met the client’s expectations and budget. All five bathrooms were stripped of all the old linings and fittings, new insulation and aqualine gib board was installed, new lighting and underfloor heating was put in, with all five bathrooms being fully tiled. Frameless glass showers and mirrors with new lighting and heated towel rails completed these five bathrooms.

The end result was stunning. All work was completed on time and within budget to the satisfaction of the owners.

Mt. Eden Bathrooms Project

An old bungalow in Mt. Eden was extended and renovated which included four bathrooms and an en suite. Each bathroom was individually tailored to suit the family’s children. The project involved automatic skylights with rain sensors which closed the skylight if rain began to fall, underfloor heating, automated locks, a large two person spa bath was installed in the ensuite and the ensuite shower had body jets with an overhead rain dumper, plus a hand held slide shower. A 450 litre hot water cylinder heated with a gas boiler with an electric back up was installed, with a 40mm ring main circulating hot water to each of the 4 bathrooms and ensuite meaning that hot water was always available. The system was designed so that multiple showers could be run at once. Custom made vanities complemented the tiling and lighting layout, resulting in enormous satisfaction for the our team and delight for the owners and their family.
